M.A.C. Cosmetics, an acronym for Make Up Art Cosmetics, is a Canadian beauty products company founded in 1984 by an idea of Frank Toskan (a professional photographer and make-up artist) and Frank Angelo (manager of a beauty salon in Toronto). The two, together with the chemist Victor Casale, they wanted to find a formula for the good rendering of models’ make-up during photo shoots.
THE PROJECT.
Target
MAC’s goal was to promote its products in an innovative and unexplored niche market for a beauty brand: the world of gaming and streaming.
Strategy
We organized together with MAC a promotional campaign, in which, after carefully selecting our most suitable Talent for the job, we promoted an activity multiplatform, achieved on our Gaia Clerici‘s main socials, such as: Instagram, Twitch and TikTok. The team of 4 creators, the MAC Glow E-team, collaborated throughout the promotion on content production.
RESULTS
We measured a total of 3 Million impressions distributed across all major social platforms of Gaia (TikTok, Instagram and Twitch), his community got the message across well, still managing to make a connection between cosmetics MAC and the world of esports; certainly the conspicuous number of female audiences that follow Gaia, and the world of makeup together, finalized a perfect marriage.
