Fortnite is a 2017 third-person shooter video game developed by People Can Fly and published by Epic Games for consoles and PC. The game features three distinct modes that share the same graphics engine: Save the World, Creative Mode and Battle Royal.
THE PROJECT.
Target
The ‘main goal of the campaign was to promote the event related to the end of Fortnite Chapter 3 ahead of the release of Chapter 4.
Strategy
Marza and Blur were chosen for their affinity for Fortnite, an explosive pair capable of entertaining and showcasing an iconic event. The activity was conducted entirely in-game where Epic set up an end-of-chapter event in preparation for the next one. The content was made live on Twitch and later made available on YouTube.
RESULTS
On Twitch we averaged 20k concurrent viewers with peaks of 28k for a total of 500k aggregate impressions with YouTube.
