The Little Mermaid 2023: Gay Pride

For Gay Pride 2023, held in Rome, we chose two cosplayers who participated as mermaids, inspired by the film The Little Mermaid: 2023. Meralex, an artisan who specializes in making mermaid tails, made two tails in LGBTQIA+ flag colors, specifically and in the colors of the trans flag. The mermaids, played by Olimpia Pagni and directly from Meralex, paraded on the float, entertained the audience and joined Ursula’s Italian voice actress and singer, Simona Patitucci, and Ariel’s singer, Yana C.
